Comcast Unveils 100-Gigabit Fiber Network in Little Rock, Ark.

 

Investment will deliver Arkansas’ fastest speeds to businesses, schools, government agencies and hospitals across greater Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, AR. – November 14, 2016 – Comcast Business today announced it has completed a multi-million dollar fiber optic network that spans greater Little Rock, capable of delivering up to 100-gigabit speeds to local businesses. The fiber-based Ethernet service will provide businesses, schools, hospitals and government organizations with highly scalable and ultra-fast Internet connectivity and cloud-based voice solutions.

  • Ethernet Dedicated Internet: continuous, high-bandwidth connectivity between customers’ LANs and the public Internet

Nationally, Comcast Business’s Ethernet services are delivered over an advanced network that spans 149,000 miles and features a 100 Gbps backbone and expanded local footprint through Ethernet over HFC. Bandwidth is available up to 100 Gbps and can be scaled in increments and offered in three different classes of service, backed by strict service level agreements and monitored 24x7x365 from Comcast’s dedicated Network Operations Centers.
